The City of Medina del Campo shows the new municipal app Medina 21 before the URBACT program team

Medina del Campo, is behind the capital, the most populous, influential and dynamic municipality of the province of Valladolid. It is worth noting that this municipality is its Commercial Medinense Sunday and the large number of furniture exhibitions that have led it to become "Furniture Town". Together with nine other cities, Medina del Campo has the URBACT program whose objective is to promote integrated and sustainable development and to contribute to the implementation of the Europe 2020 strategy.

On September 6, 2016 was the presentation of Medina 21, the new app of the City of Medina del Campo, before representatives of the nine cities that make up the team of the European project URBACT. The consortium of the City Center Doctor project consists of the following cities: • San Dona di Piave (Italy) • Medina del Campo (Spain) • Radlin (Poland) • Kildare County Council (Ireland) • Heerlen (Netherlands) • Amarante Portugal) • Petrinja (Croatia) • Idrija (Slovenia) • Nort-sur-Erdre (France) • Valasské Mezirící (Czech Republic)

In charge of the presentation was representing LíneaCiudadana, Pablo Rodríguez Bustamante accompanied by Antonio Bonilla, Director of Expansion, and Daniel Montilla, Director General. The objective of the meeting was to show the rest of the consortium how Medina del Campo had opted for the participation and communication in Smart City matter hand of the company LíneaCiudadana company in charge of the realization of the app.
